My Philosophy

“Remember that you don’t have to eat a perfect diet to be healthy” - Evelyn Tribole, Intuitive Eating

We live in a world that advertises health, weight loss, and positive body image as things that are a quick fix with the next best diet. But is that really the best or most sustainable solution? That’s why I’m here – to help you step out of diet culture and into a life filled with real food and natural energy, driven by an individualized approach to wellness.

The more we educate ourselves from reliable resources, the sooner we can begin to enjoy all food and understand why. Everyone has different taste preferences, medical backgrounds, and relationships with food. I believe it’s important to find what works best for you – and keep in mind, what worked for you one day, may be different the next day. Our bodies are constantly changing, so our nutrition needs vary day to day. Together, let’s explore what your body needs.

It’s time to enjoy what we eat and focus more on things that add joy to our lives. It may be a winding (but exciting) path of ups and downs, and I’m here to help.

My Mission

When I decided to study dietetics, I knew this profession was where I belonged. I am passionate about helping clients make peace with food, movement, and their body through an individualized, weight inclusive approach. We will focus more on behavioral changes and less on numbers (like weight, calories, and macros). All bodies are good bodies that deserve care and respect.

My Background

I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, and completed both my Dietetic Internship and Masters of Science in Nutrition with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from Long Island University, Post Campus.

Let’s work together to improve your relationship with food and have fun making personal discoveries along the way.
